Another POS Christensen...

Not that a youtube survey means much.. But this dude said he had more negative comments about CA than all others combined. Glad they are hammering for a bunch of you guys though.

Me too! My 7 mag was a hand me down from my late father and the 300 WM was at a price I couldn’t refuse from my bro in law. So I ended up with two brand new rifles that shoot great for very little money.

However, there are two things that bug me about both rifles:
1. After firing a round, the recock on the bolt lift is very stiff. Stiffer than any 700 I’ve shot. Both rifles are this way. I’m not sure if this will lessen with a higher round count?
2. I hate the stocks. Both rifles are the Ridgeline FFT. So they have the carbon stocks and are very light weight overall. I can manage the 7 mag shooting 168 VLDs, but the 300 WM shooting full house 215 loads is a bit unmanageable. So much so, I don’t use a suppressor and use a brake instead. I do like the rifles enough to keep them, but I see a new stocks in their future. Probably McMillan Mountain Trackers. I think if you had a .308 win and below recoil-wise, the stock would work. Lastly, I need a cheek riser on both of the stocks.

I just REALLY dont like the grip on the stocks. They seem like they'd be really nice to carry though. The fore-end on the standard models was really flexible, not sure how much that may have been improved on the FFT model.

Yeah, if the Seekins is the fat kid in the room with the palm swell, than the CA is the anorexic chick.
