I primarily hunt, fish and hike

I hunt in
TX, CO, ID

I am in my early 60s
grew up in West Texas,
spent some time in USN and in California
been in N. TX for 25 years
I have been nearly 100% archery for big game the last 5 years
I still enjoy upland hunting and some small game

Found Rokslide while planning gear for next season

I am literally full of crappie
but a lot of folks are experts in April

Dano, care to divulge which lake those crappie came from? Ha! I grew up in your current neck of the woods, and still have family in the area. Also, welcome to the board.

I've only been on that lake in a ski boat. I fished Lavon a few times, mainly because it was close. Have you been able to do much fishing lately, with the water levels as high as they are?
