I used to cowboy for a rancher in the Little Belts back in the mid/late '70s and there was this pretty little stream that flowed into the Smith where I killed my first bear, Tenderfoot Creek.
Do most of my hunting with a recurve, sometimes a longbow, (I would kill a wolf with anything available), and looking forward to hunting elk this fall in NW WY where my son summers. If that doesn't fill the freezer I should, God willing, be able to put a couple whitetails down at home.
As a lurker here I've already gleaned a wealth of knowledge, not sure if I'll be able to reciprocate much, ha.
My best hunting years are behind me now, still got a few in me, but I'll be living them vicariously through you young bucks, thank you. Rok on!
