I was able to log another kill with the 220 LRHT from my 30 nosler the other night.
Whitetail buck at 530 yards, Impact velocity 2350
The shot was a little low due to a bad range call, the bullet clipped the bottom of the lungs and broke the offside leg bone.
The buck tore off like a bat out of hell and made it a few hundred yards before dropping.
*Edited 11-22 to say after contemplating how far that buck ran (I later measured it to be over 400 yards), and making two kills this year with180 Bergers that resulted in near instant death.
I'm no longer planning on using lrhts for hunting, they just don't kill fast enough for my liking and from what I remember about the wound channels on this buck and my bull the 180 vldhs did significantly more damage
