Anchorage travel restrictions?

Flying into Anchorage August 18th. What's the latest rules on flying in? Last summer I had to show a negative covid test, they still doing that?

No. Down in baggage claim you can still get a test or a vaccination if you want but there are no other requirements.
masks are voluntary but I haven’t been to too many villages off the road system. A couple of places out in king Salmon ask people to wear a mask by nobody does.
if you’re headed to a remote village off the road system you might check locally.

Just got back from spring bear hunting. With the exception of the plane and airport, there were no restrictions and no mask requirements ;). Like mentioned above, who knows if that will change at all by August.

Thanks guys.

I was just checking into that on the Alaska travel website. No Rona test makes planning the trip easier. Talk about a cluster last year....in the end I could have just lied about the test. Showed them a screen shot of my test that said negative....no name, no date, nothing....waved me in. What a joke.

yea and of all the states to worry about covid--- ? I think some of the Canadians thinking is rubbing off on them..

Our daily positive numbers are the lowest they’ve been in a year (about 25/day statewide), and the governor just downgraded our state alert level to low, so things are definitely heading in the right direction.
