An Encounter With Wolves!

Here's a cool clip of an encounter we came across on Thursday 9/7/17 -- Notice in right hand corner of the video when we mention the bird in the tree, you can see a wolf with his nose in the air howling! Needless to say that bull & his cows were out of there! (grin)

I've never been much of a coyote hunter but after seeing your vid I could see going all in on wolf hunting. Great documentation of your time in the woods Paul!

Idaho sent me an email offering me the $35 tag to add to my elk tag.

Wolves are cool to watch but I like elk a whole lot better.

When guiding I called in a six pack of wolves and had them circle my hunter and I at 30 yards in dark timber back before they could be hunted. Not a good feeling.

It's smoke! Lots of fires in the area. The wolves there are in the west central part of the state!
