Does anyone know of anywhere that you can buy partial boxes of ammo? I just got a 6.5prc and I want to figure out what to feed this thing without ending up with an assortment of ammo I don’t need when I’m done.

TIA

That’s not a real thing. Besides, you need more than 2-3 rounds to figure out what it really doing in your gun.

As a non-reloader, I feel your pain. But yeah, not really feasible. As said above, you're going to need more than a few rounds to find out what it's doing anyway. My routine when trying different boxes was to shoot a 10rd group. If I find it shoots significantly worse than other stuff I've tried, I save the remaining 10 for positional shooting practice inside a reasonable distance. If it shoots decently, I shoot the remaining 10 for a good 20rd group. Repeat with other types and I have a few different 20rd groups to compare (at least for precision, bullet performance is a different metric to consider).

I know places like black-butterfly have sample packs of their ammo. Can round up samplers of bullets for reloading as well.

Seriously doubt you will find loaded ammo sample packs for a PRC though
