Amazing results from a factory Tikka

Did some shooting today with my best friend and his BIL who was shooting a Tikka T3x Roughtech in .300 Win. After getting zeroed and getting some speeds on his ammo we worked out his dope to 400 yards. The rifle was very consistent at all ranges. We wanted to put 3 round on steel at 400 just make sure the rifle shot the ammo well. Below are the results. Simply amazing for a factory rifle with factory ammo.

BTW, the speed was 3002 FPS

No joke!! That's fantastic. Tikkas are accurate rifles but I think it's also safe to bet that your friend has a trigger squeeze or two under his belt to stack them like that with a lightweight magnum. Good shooting.

I bought a roughtech this summer as well, in a 300wsm. Tried a few different kinds of ammo, all shot sub moa, but terminal ascent federal shot 1/2 moa. Makes me wonder if there is something different about the roughtech. I had planned on "upgrading" it over the years but I am going to struggle messing with it as good as it shoots. Quite a rifle for the money!

I have had a few with similar results, they just plain shoot! Looking at options for a new mountain rifle this season, and as much as I hate the damn magazines, I will most likley go with a Tikka. Cheap(er), light, and dead accurate when compared to similar rifles in their class.
