Am I overthinking trimmers?

I used the lee trimmers and a drill for years picked up the lyman and it sooo much better

I picked one of these up too, has made trimming go way faster. Now I just would like to get a powered chamfer and dubur station!

OP how have you been reloading for 20 years and never trimmed brass?

I’ve got one of the hand crank jobs. It works. Faster would definitely be better though. For 50-100 pieces at a time it’s not horrible though.

i'm coming up on 20 years of reloading and haven't needed a trimmer till this year. I think its generally because I've transitioned out of a few calibers. but I'm now getting a bit more precise. I did pick up a dillon power trim because i have a 5 gallon bucket of 1x fired mil 5.56 that I'm goign to process and load. I got my dies all set and some brass get trimmed and some doesn't when i run it through

Been using Forsters and Milwaukee cordless screwdrivers to power 'em, forevah.... ebay can be your friend.

Played with my new Hornady last night. Trimmed like 700 pieces of 223 ai then some 22 creed. Only complaint is the 223 collet is tricky to get the 223 to hold straight. Not sure if there's an option for a dedicated caliber collet. But so much better than my LE Wilson.
When I went to 22 Creed it definitely liked that bigger case better. Clicked right in and never really had any alignment issues.
