Are there any electronic payment methods I don’t know about that allow you to send money/purchase used goods with a credit card (namely firearms)?

PayPal doesn’t allow it, Venmo is owned by PayPal and I don’t think allows it, and also venom rings up as a cash advance when CC is used anyway.

The fraud protection and ease of payment is why I want this, and am just wondering if it already exists and I don’t know about it. Thanks all.

I did it with venmo a few weeks ago. It may be because i dont have a bank account linked to it. The option actually popped up and said “purchase using a credit card and be eligible forcprotection.”

There is a thing called Visa direct that supposedly allows person to person payments but I don’t know much about it.

Yeah I did this once and found out when my CC bill came that they consider it a cash advance when I use venom and it charges a 10$ fee and daily insane interest. PayPal doesn’t do that but venom does idk why

Been thinking of this too, don’t see options I like any better than pp.

I use square for my side business selling holsters at gun shows. It is easy to enter a card number over the phone to charge fir an item.

This would be secure for both parties but you have to 4% hit from visa and 3.75% hit from square. So 8 % to negotiate. The square swipe device is free.

Some of my sales folks offered to send checks - think you need a good rating history for that.
