Looking at getting a lightweight blind for run and gun turkey hunting but want a full blind in case of rain.

From what I can find the Alps Outdoorz Deception is the lightest hub style blind available today. Slightly smaller than I prefer but being sub 10 pounds is great.

Any users have one and can give likes or dislikes? Or other recommendations for one hunter that wants to be mobile? Preferably not a spring steel blind, have used them a lot and want to move to a hub style now.

I borrowed one from a friend for a few rainy day hunts, paired with a light weight chair it does what you need it too. I have a Lafuma low chair that is sub 2lbs so I am not toting one of the heavy gobbler lounger chairs!

I may buy one for my travels so I do not have to carry around my double bull that takes up space and rarely gets used anymore.

It is really a great option for rain or areas where there is not a good hide, I killed a bird in the rain in an alfalfa field where there was no cover, they roost on the neighbor and fly into the wide open field!

I am 5'10 160 and there is plenty of room in there, not full size bling comfy but as comfortable as the chair you use! I could see there being an issue for a big guy.
