ALPS Bino Harness

I may have to give the alps a try. I've never used a bino harness so I really don't want something super bulky. I do like that it has molle webbing on the side so you could attach any pouch you wanted on that side for rangefinder etc.

I have one for my cheapo 8x32s. Haven't used it on a hunt yet, but have toted it around hiking, training, etc.

Works great for the smaller binos. The windchecker pocket is pretty small. I have a water bottle pocket (from Salomon) that I attached to the molle. That fits my rangefinder. The water bottle pocket has a stretch mesh pocket which fits a windchecker. The front zip pocket is pretty tight too. I won't keep anything in there except perhaps my backup mouth reeds.

It's quite small, which I like, and cinches down really well. All and all, will work well for my purposes. I could see how people would want something bigger. But the price point was good for a first harness.

The ALPS is a direct ripoff of the FHF and it's made in Viet Nam. Spend a little more and support the great guys at FHF with USA made products.

I'd really love to, but I can't afford to spend that much on a harness right now, I still have other gear to buy before I head out. May have to just use a strap for this year.

Finally put some hands on some ALPs. I agree that they are a bit on the small side.

Looks similar for sure, but I have an fhf and I wouldn't say it's a direct ripoff... different pocket layout, harness is different, different materials... hard to say
