Alpha Munitions primer pockets too tight?

Just to be clear, the batch of Alpha brass I received is not normal. The pockets are simply too narrow to prime correctly. This brass is out of spec and is garbage.

Any benefit from Alpha having a tight primer pocket went out the window the minute they starting shipping garbage product.
Have you contacted them? Unfortunate for you. I have prob 6k pieces of alpha brass between several chamberings, not any of them are excessively tight to your description. If there's a problem, they'll ikely fix it.

I would also recommend contacting them. I'd be willing to bet they would take care of you. Alpha brass is not garbage. I would argue it's just as good as Lapua. I've got some 25 Creed that's on it's 15 firing and showing no signs of slowing down. Lots of guys buy it new, load it, and sell it after to avoid resizing. That just goes to show how consistent it is.

^^^ I’ll be the third to suggest contacting Alpha. They can’t fix an issue if you don’t make them aware.

Yes I am currently going back and forth with Alpha customer service. Unfortunately I can’t ship some back across the border for them to measure. Most likely I am SOL.

This brass is from 2021. Hopefully any issues have been resolved since then because paying big money for brass that can’t be loaded is really unfortunate.

Will they accept a picture of you measuring the brass with a quality micrometer?
