So I have been running a alpha 100 for years and I keep running into the same issue. I have it tethered to my vest but it bounces around a lot to the point is changes setting/screens, how is everyone attaching them to there vest to stop this problem now I just keep unlocking and locking the screen which is a pain....

Thanks.

I used to have the same problem. I now have a final rise alpha 100 pouch on my shoulder and a garmin watch. I look at the watch to see where the dogs are and still have access to the buttons to tone them in.

How you have it tethered may make a difference too---i use a small double-sided carabiner connected to a belt loop and get less bounce than I used to and I also keep the screen locked. The shorter and tighter the connection between the unit and your body, the less bounce and having it right at my waist seems to help too with less bounce. I will second the Garmin watch idea--I have the cheapest garmin watch that connects to the Apha system that I found on sale and use that to locate where the dogs are rather than the handheld.

I use the tether as backup (In case the clip were to come off) and use the Garmin clip over my vest webbing strap. I used a leather holster before and depending where I would clip it, it would bounce too much for me
