Any insights from guys who have used one or both of these? Particularly why you’d go with one over the other. I’ve spent about 10 nights in a borrowed Allak so somewhat familiar with it but the Nallo looks very intriguing to me. They’re obviously totally different styles so having a hard time picking a direction.

Use case will be on some more intense backpack hunts, i.e. the kind where you want a Hilleberg but it could also get some use on backpacking trips with the girlfriend as well. The added room is why I am leaning away from something like a Niak but I’m still considering it as well. Thanks!!

I have had both (still have the Allak). I don't like the Nallo / Anjan tunnel style tents because they are a little more difficult to get into and the air flow isn't as good. The Allak is easier to get into from the sides and you can get better air flow through the tent by opening both doors. You can also lay in the Allak and see your outside surroundings way better as well. The Nallo might set up just a little faster (?), they both have quite a few stakes and guy lines.

I really like my Allak and it's a bomber tent. It's heavy for a backpack tent, but I'm guessing you already know that.

Good luck.

I've owned both and agree with this 100%
