I’ll be there.
I built a “Memorial Rifle” dedicated to a couple local sheep hunters from Fairbanks and North Pole who passed away while out sheep hunting last September. Friends and family asked me to build rifle. About 6 folks involved with the project locally, I know one is a Rokslide member.
100 percent of the auction amount donation to the AKWSF the family and friends requested. Rifle is a custom built 280AI on a Kimber Montana action, Lilja 24” 9” twist 3-groove Barrel, seamless contoured muzzle break, Jard 24oz trigger, 150 rnds tuned handloaded ammo, Leupold VX3 4.5-14x40 30mm LR scope, Cerakoted Tungsten with Graphite Black parts highlights, Fluted bolt/hollowed bolt knob, Fluted Barrel, Pelican 2-gun travel vault, Harris Bi-Pod and Boyt soft case.
In addition to the handloaded ammo, Rifle has been proofed with factory Hornady Precision hunter 162gr ELDX ammo as well averaging .360 MOA from three, 3 shot groups. See attached picture.
Rifle with scope weight is 6lbs 5oz total.
