Might be a dumb question, but has anyone talk to Alaska Trophy Express this year? The number I called on their website says that they are a moving company now?? Am I looking at the wrong thing or am I missing something?😂 any info is appreciated!

There are two numbers online and the only difference is one number. One is the right one and the other is a moving service. I just sent an email and the owner (Kevin if I remember correctly) emailed me back and then called me. Everything is good. Sounds like a good way of doing it! Especially if you don't have time to package and ship everything yourself.

So who is holding the meat for them now? I called Santas Smokehouse early this year and they said they did it then I talked to a taxidermist and they said they were the drop off.

Just depends on where you fly out of. We are going out of Anchorage, so our drop off/holding spot is Daltons Refrigeration.

I used them last year, excellent service. I brought back 896 lbs. Cape, horns, and a lot of meat. I have hauled sheep, caribou, bear, deer and many other animals via airlines. This was way worth the money.

Hunting partner used them last year. Thought the service was good overall. One note: their guy in Fairbanks stacked the damp game bags on top of each other and they had issues at delivery separating the game bags when it was time to unload. Some of the meat had to be torn/broken apart and a lot of the game bags were wrecked. Think they had some massive frozen meat cubes at delivery.

Assume that issue will get cleaned up this year, just make sure your game bags go in a heavy plastic contractor bag in the freezer truck and it'll be all good.
