Which pant for mid-late oct in Idaho? Both list right at 23oz. What are the big differences?

Haven't tried the Dalibor. I'm really liking the Alaios pants. Tested them some today and I am really impressed.

Good question. I was wondering the same thing and ended up going the alios route. The only difference I could see is that the dalibor may be made out of a softer and quieter fabric. I like the alios for $50 less. The person who knows for sure (Aron) is chasing bears right now in Washington.

I debated between the two and went with the dalibor. Will let you know my thoughts when they get here.

curious as well. i use the valhalla and love them. lots of moisture here in wa. always nervous about thicker pants due to my warm body temp and i like to layer. i tend to always surprise people on how little i need to stay warm when in the mountains. have not tried the alios or dalibor but want to for the winter. there is no place that i have near to see the difference in the two.

The Dalibar is pretty hard to beat in late fall/winter weather! I've worn mine for 26 days in a row and haven't wished for anything else when using them. They cut the wind better than the Alios, but also are a bit more water resistant.

I think i would have preferred the dalibor pants over the alaios. I really like mine, but have wanted a little more material a few times for warmth.

I ended up wearing my valhallas and a thick baselayer. Worked well enough and i didnt freeze but the wind did cut right through. I love the freedom of movement the valhallas give but ill probably pick up a a pair of dalibors for oct-nov hunts next year.

Per Arons recommendation, I'm looking hard at the dalibar. I wear a 36 x 30" in blue jeans and khakis. Since I'll be layered w/ merino, what size should I get?
