Akek giveaway?

Anyone know what happened to the Akek pack giveaway thread? I can not seem to find it, I thought it was in packs sub forum?

Guessing they decided not to remain as a Rokslide sponsor after how their initial thread went. Robby probably let them out and deleted the thread as a courtesy.

Yep. Basically they were selling a cheapo alibaba pack for $570

Eta: BTW, to my knowledge the Alibaba pic showed only the carbon frame (and that looked really good) and just the frame was already over $100 ....so it might not be too shabby overall, I will see when it gets there....

I saw the packs at the hunt expo over the weekend. The Frame was extremely flimsy and I could bend it laterally very easily to where my wife thought I was going to break it.

...there is a vid where they used it as a ramp for a car, yes it bent, but it didn't break...

That’s false. The alibaba packs is a complete frame and bag set up for 38.50.

Do you think AKEK doesn’t buy them in bulk?

Does the fact that the supplier of their 38.50 dollar pack requiring a bulk order somehow change the fact that they’re 38.50 per pack.

It’s the exact same frame they have posted on their website. I hope it works out for you, maybe they’ll send you one of those lights they paid 10 cents for too.

...you have to cash out upfront $20,000, plus shipping, plus import tax ....than it may take 2 years to sell 400 of them, then you have to deal with some warranty claims, ...advertising .... storage....you have to earn a living from it...
