Wanted to try out some new vanes this year that could steer my Iron Will heads well, were quiet & didn’t require a primer pen.

tries the new AAE Airrazr 26’s in hot pink. They fletched up well & seemed quiet enough.

Problem is that my target is getting old & occasionally I’ll get vanes pulled into the target.

These have to be the weakest vane I’ve ever tried. Literally 1 shot into my Rinehart 18-1 & they have crazy memory-doubt I’ll be able to get it back in shape.

Now I get to pull nocks, scrape the **** out of the arrow & mar the back end up & back to the drawing board.

Hoping AAE gives me a refund because if they are this sensitive to any sort of disturbance they are completely worthless to me. I didn’t even miss my target, just shot thru it more than I thought it would

I quit shooting their stuff in the late 70's for exactly that reason. Vanetec curl in the sunlight. Flex-fletch will curl in a bale but will come back pretty quick. No idea about Q2i.

That’s a bit of a bummer. If you dip the fletched end of the arrow into boiling water it will straighten those vanes right back to original.
