Air travel with a firearm/bow

For those that travel by air to bow hunt and also carry a hand gun. Do you place the hand gun in with your bow or check it with your other bags.

I would think same locking case would be fine, as long as ammo is separate. I have traveled with multiple guns in one case. Some airlines have specific rules so check with the one you chose.. Be prepared to pay extra, especially if they consider it oversized luggage.

We put the handgun in with the bow. That way tsa can’t open your bow case without you there.
