That's just foolishness. You can buy a whole lot of center fire rifle ammo for the cost of a high power air rifle.

Air rifle ammo is a whole lot cheaper than comparative center fire or rim fire, i pay 25 bucks for 500 .177 pellets. And can kill lots of smaller game and coyotes with it
