Air Lock Industries Suppressor

I read through this and had to laugh you still have formadillous over here. Over on the campfire people finally figured out he is a professional influence peddler who develops a following of fanboys who finally after a long time figure out just how thick the bull $hit is. Thousands of big game animals shot, 100k rounds of manbun on a scope. Then only shows tikkas with factory barrels still in them. Then runs and hides when the heat starts to get too hot like we saw in this thread. Now he’s an expert in suppressor design. 😂😂😂😂 Don’t worry you guys will figure it out eventually too.

If you're going to call him out then be a man about it and tag him.

There is a difference between on OTB can and flush mount. I can put a wrench on an adapter stuck in a flush mount, not an option with an OTB can.

I have an OTB waiting on the ATF (OG65) and have an AB Raptor, so the getting stuck is not a concern that has kept me away from OTB mufflers (use Rocksett done properly between adapter and barrel and antisieze between adapter and can). But, OTB and flush mount are not the same when it comes to potential issues.
Yes you can. Buy the SRS adapter and tool and it's no different than getting any other adapter out. 4 pins in the slot and turn it with a ratchet. As I said, you can get one stuck in any can, and if you buy the right damn adapter to begin with you can get it out. It isn't rocket science.

Special tool and adapter = increased frustration factor.

It also admits getting an adapter stuck requires a special solution.

Thank you for confirming my original point.

You could also say "just thread all your barrels to the right damn pitch to start with".

We do sell both but haven't compared them side by side sound wise. Only have a 7mm ZG and the 8.6 Predator on hand currently but could probably put something together. Will be very subjective as we don't have a meter.

I would guess the Predator sounds better just because it has so much more volume going for it. ZG is the easy choice if you're prioritizing length and weight as the Predator is not a small can.

I’m told it is very affordable to rent a meter. I haven’t had the opportunity to do it just yet, but something like $150 for a day. If you rent on a Friday, you get it for the whole weekend and return it on a Monday.

Have you been quoted that price to rent a meter that meets 1474 for rise time and sampling rate like a B&K 2209 or Pulse? Hell that'd be worth it for a day or two to see what my own collection meters on my rifles.

There's probably some Larsen Davis rentals out there for cheaper, but I don't know that any of their meters meet the standard for sample rate, and as such would be random number generators around the actual peak, you could tell big enough differences, but not really comparison on similarly performing cans.

That is a pretty hilarious assessment. 95% of the Fire can’t “figure out” how to spin an elevation turret, much less get a legitimate read on a dude that they don’t know. Might wanna’ sober up a bit before letting all of your feminine rage out on the keyboard next time, cowboy…

It’s interesting the guys over there used to say the same thing. Pretty much exactly. You guys will learn just like they all did over there. Even the biggest fans. Look no reason to get mad. I am laughing actually.
