Air Lock Industries Suppressor

We currently have several prototypes for the 30, but we’ve been prioritizing print time to fulfill customer orders. To ensure we have adequate time to continue refining and developing the 30, we’re pushing its release to spring.

The 6mm was always planned for a spring release. Once we have more data in hand, we’ll begin sharing it. Based on what we learned from the Nano, it will be a very compact and effective package.

The pre-orders opening tomorrow for the Nano, 6.5mm, and 7mm models fulfilled in the March/April timeframe.

We’ll have a better grasp of production for the 6mm by spring at which point we’ll be able to provide an estimated ship date. Goal is to start shipping 6mm and 30s in early summer.

I likely missed it, but how will the pre orders work? Pay a deposit then the remaining balance prior to shipping?

We tried offering this option on our current website, but ran into some payment processing issues, so for now we collect payment up front.

Looking ahead, we’re exploring the possibility of a $100 deposit for 6mm and 30 allocations. This would help get you in the queue and give us a better idea of production needs to meet demand.

Nothing is finalized yet, and we’d love to hear Roksliders thoughts.

I’d be more than happy to pay a deposit for a spot in the queue on a 6mm

I think something like a non-refundable deposit would keep both parties in line and allow for accurate planning with incentive to stay on schedule.

Would also be happy to put a deposit on a 30 cal.

Reminder for tomorrow’s pre-order:
If you’re unable to add a suppressor to your cart once we go live, please refresh your browser. If that doesn’t work, try opening a new browser window or an incognito/private tab, some browsers can get stuck on a cached version of the page.
What if I'm to dumb to know what a browser or cache is?

Would it be reasonable to expect the 6mm, whenever available, to provide somewhat increased suppression, at a slight increase in size/weight, and also increased caliber options. Similar to the situation offered by the 7mm vs 6.5?

I imagine this has been discussed but at 61 pages and counting, I’ll just ask again.

Whats the advantage of the caliber specific vs for example getting a .284 for everything at and below 284? The obvious answer is weight and length savings…is that the only advantage?

Size and weight.

It “appears” the bigger cans will
Suppress the smaller stuff great (even a bit quieter) but cost is heavier and longer.

One more thing. According to posts in the previous pages (going from memory here), the sound suppression is better as well. Not by much (according to the websites specs only 1 dB lower), but the reviewer(s) did notice the difference. Makes sense, the 7mm Zero Gravity is 1/2" longer.

(Edit) never mind, already answered, took too long to write and correct for fat fingers.
