Air Lock Industries Suppressor

@Q_Sertorius We’re planning another pre-order next week, with fulfillment expected the first week of November.

@Trogon @KU_Geo I know someone getting a Reaper who already owns a Zero Gravity 6.5, and I can ask if he’d be willing to share his thoughts once it gets it. Also, if anyone in the Boise area wants to shoot a 6.5mm Zero Gravity, send me a DM. I’m happy to set that up and if anyone wants to run it side by side with their Reaper or 6.5 OG, I’d love to make that happen and hear your feedback and they can post it on here. Just send me a DM and ill send you my cell phone number.

That’s great! Particularly since I just got notified that NFA approvals should resume on Monday!

@DannyB would it be possible to make some available with 9/16-24 threads? Since CZ just can't seem to be normal and thread everything 1/2-28 or 5/8-24.

Its a damn constitutional right, it should be serviced no matter what!
I think this is the bigger driver. If they pause approvals too long, it is a constitutional issue that could be used to undo the nfa. Similar to when DC had no gun dealers, the cops started doing transfers so that there was no constitutional issue that could be used to undo the laws in place.

We’re opening our next pre-order batch on 10/23 at 12:00 MST. The estimated ship date is 11/4, though we’ll do our best to get orders out sooner if possible. Both 6.5s and some 7s will be restocked.

Is that 1200 MDT or MST... I thought Idaho observed Daylight Savings? Don't want to miss the boat...

@DannyB, do you think you would consider releasing a version of the ZG 7mm with baffle and end cap holes sized down for 6mm? I'd get excited about a really quiet, but also light and short 6mm can. I'd also get excited about something a little fatter, if it would help get the db down even further. With a 16" barrel and a short can, the diameter could be a fair bit bigger without blocking the sight picture.

I just received the pre-order announcement email. Quick question: which currently released Airlock suppressor (6.5 or 7) will be the quietest for an 18" barreled 6 CM? I only care about decibel reduction, not physical size. TIA.

Received notice yesterday my form3 was let out of govt shutdown purgatory yesterday and on its way to my FFL.

My airlock 65 form4 was submitted Sept 12, with mail in prints. This process usually takes me 10-14 day approvals. ATF bakc in office yesterday, I received my form4 approval today.

The 7mm has a touch more internal volume, but a larger aperture. Human ear likely couldn't tell the difference, a meter might find 1db between the two. Pick the one that most excites you or fits multiple rifle formats. If you shoot a 7mm or 277 cal, I'd def get the larger can. Only shoot 6mm and 223? Go with the 65 version.

3d printed cans are the future 10000% their tech and development is still adolescent, and in a year's time there will be better stuff out there.

I didn’t need to spend more money on suppressors. But I’ve been eyeing these since pre release over the summer. Seems like getting one or two of the 6.5 cans is the ticket considering I don’t shoot anything over 6.5 anyway.

The 7mm is our quietest option, but the difference is subtle; noticeable to me, but for most shooters the standard 6.5 is more than sufficient. I personally know four customers running 16" 6.5 and 6mm Creedmoor barrels who are very happy with the 6.5 Zero Gravity.

If your goal is maximum suppression, go 7mm. If you want an all-around performer (excellent suppression with a smaller package), the 6.5 is a great choice.

About a longer 6mm model: right now we’re focused on lightweight, backcountry hunting-oriented suppressors so minimizing size while keeping suppression high is the priority. As our production capacity increases we’ll explore more options (including longer versions).

Roadmap snapshot: next up we’re working on a .22 suppressor and .30 caliber model (estimated winter 2025/26), a 6mm model (spring 2026), and a braked suppressor (summer 2026). We’ll add a dedicated page on the website with timelines so its easy for people to find.

Also, google has seemed to finally figure itself out and we are the first page to pop up when searching so we are much easier to find now.
