I saw another video today on instagram running it on an AR platform. Looks like from the caption on the video that it took 50 rounds of rapid fire before endcap failure. Have been really interested in this for a future can since i got my OG just one week before they announced the OG 6.5

That’s a hard nope from me. Cheap aluminum cans don’t get damaged from 50 rounds of 223.

4” long. 6x30 round mags of 5.56 from a 10.5” barrel at cyclic-






No damage whatsoever. This 4” can was used on a 20” 300Win Mag the next day also with no issues.

But beyond that- that is your excuse for a can that is right on the edge of coming apart that it is damaged from 50 rounds of 223? That some 30cal can is supposedly 2-3dBA louder?

I don’t care what your DB meter says , it’s the loudest silencer I’ve ever heard on a bolt action ( tied with the raptor 4 ) . I’ve been shooting suppressed for a long time and heard just about everything offered .

So you don’t care what actual is? That you say that is a bit telling- because it isn’t reality. I have put a bunch of people to blind “tests” and see which cans they pick without seeing which is which, side by side.

He could add 5 ounces to the airlock to take whatever abuse from a 223 you deem acceptable and it would still be MUCH MUCH quieter and lighter than the OG . I don’t need my 6.5 silencer to be built like a tank . That’s what my inconel 556 silencers are for …

Build a quieter silencer and you wouldn’t be grasping at the durability straws …

The OG is definitely not "the loudest bolt action silencer on the market". That is just false information that you should retract just because you don't like it.
