Air Lock Industries Suppressor

Also heard about these guys from the EXP podcast. Once I get a dedicated can for my 6ac its a toss between this and the OG. Hoping folks start commenting about their experience with the airlock can.

Mark from Exo Mtn Gear talked about the suppressor in his recent fall bear notes. Here's the link

I don't like that the test rifle they use has a 22" barrel. Obviously they cannot test a 6.5mm suppressor with the usual .308 round, but they could at least use the "standard" 20" barrel.

Thanks for the info.

EXO Mark's comment in that link is interesting, comparing the Airlock to the Thunderbeast:

"Like the Thunderbeast Ultra 5, which has been my dedicated hunting suppressor for several years, the Zero Gravity is 5” in length. But the Airlock is 2oz lighter, noticeably quieter, more affordable, and more readily available than the Ultra 5."

I don’t think 20” is standard for 6.5 cm . In his testing he has used other silencers like the Sico harvester evo side by side to give a baseline .

To their credit, they disclose what sound level meter is used, right on the product page:

Larson Davis 821IH-QPR

Standard barrel to me is 16":D
