Anyone else noticing a lot of AI looking posts lately? Brand new profiles asking super generic questions, or giving advice that reads just like it's copy and pasted. One example here.

What a weird time we live in that hunting forums are being used to train AI.

Looks like someone copy and pasted someone's instagram caption who took it from chatgpt

Bet you it's just a kid that just got internet access

Possible, I guess, that a kid might be up at 04 posting about Prognhorn scoring...

Look through the rest of the forum. Lots of the ragebait type posts recently are from similar newer profiles. The more pissed they get people, the more data they aggregate.

I never thought of that, it seems very possible now. I've been wondering if anti 2A and anti-hunters have infiltrated hunting/ firearms forums. AI could only help them even further.

@OXN939

I think there's something weird about that jjmarsh user you linked. I can't tell if it's a person or a bot.

Probably a bot.

Course they have. Not just antis, either- information is the currency of tomorrow. There are hundreds of dudes responding to AI algorithms as we speak effectively training them up on hunting tactics.

Just bumping this for general awareness. Lot of threads recently that are realistically just dozens of members here training an AI algorithm how to elk hunt. Little weird for my taste but yall do you

Be careful out there. Its good to search other forums for copy cat threads. The ones below are copy and paste OP's of real members here.

Oh and an example of a usual AI user on here below...

Man I bet guys have spent WEEKS on here fighting with that guy without knowing it's just a bot...

Yes, I have been noticing posts that seem like AI intel gathering posts rather than an actual humans asking a question.
