Hello,

Does anyone know if the AGC Kodiak C.U.B Bino Harness will fit a pain of Vortex Diamondback 12x50 binoculars. I currently have a pair of el cheapo 10x42 binos and am looking to get some 12x50's in the next month or so. And has anyone used the Diamondback 10x42's and liked them since the 12x50's might not fit.

I have to use the Denali with my El 12x50s

The AGB CUB barely fits my Zeiss Victory SF 10x42s ... of course, they're not the Vortexes, but it could be worth checking in person if you don't get a definite answer here. My 42s are *just* starting to fit after prolonged storage in the harness so that it can compress / form fit to size - but I'm still thinking about trimming the objective caps, which tend to get pulled off when taking the binos out.

I don't use lens covers when using my AGC CUB. I don't see the point when the purpose of the harness is to protect your binos. That being said, I can't stow my 8x42 Zen Rays with the eye cups extended and that does annoy me quite a bit.

I bought the Diamondback 10x42s and they are a dream. I was using some Leupolds before which were good, but not quite the same as my Vortex. Can't say enough good things about those binos or that company!

My diamondback 10x42 just barely squeezed into my Cub and actually squeaked quite loudly doing it, no way the 12x will. Look at the Black Ovis web page, they tell what binos fit in which harness and is easier to navigate than the AGC webpage.

My 10x42 fit fine, and I thought I had the Kodiak. I'll check for sure when I get home on Wednesday and let you know. But if it was the Kodiak cub that I have then yeah, no way the 12x50s are going to fit.

I do, because the occasional crud can collect in the bottom of the harness ... and it's just not worth risking damage to my binos.
