So I just scored a harness off the classifieds on another forum. I've worn it a couple times out shooting at the archery range and think I have the fit figured out, my question is, do you guys tether the binoculars to the harness some how? If yes, would you mind posting a picture?
Thanks

An alternative to the tether kit would be a length of 550/paracord from your binos to the loops on the shoulder harness.
I'll endeavour to get soon pictures up shortly of both for you.

The first 2 photos will give you an idea of how the tether system is set up.

I was hoping to pull one of the straps out and thread the paracord, however on closer inspection I would struggle to get it through the strap holes on these binoculars.

Either way just run the cord through the strap hole, tying it off, and withe the other end just secure it to the webbing on the shoulder straps that you can see in the 3rd picture. Hope this is of some help.

I don't tether mine, but my wife does tether hers. Personal preference.

I glass off of a tripod so I am always taking my binos out and clicking them in to my pan head. Never had an issue with them being loose.

Before the factory tether set was available he used to send a couple of pieces of paracord to use as a tether. I didn't care for that so I used some left over shock cord and a pair of quick disconnects from Rick Young Outdoors. Easy to use tethered or taken loose for a tripod.

Gotta ask, where did you get the locking buckles. I have a mystery ranch pack that has them and want to add them to my agc harness. Works it's way loose pretty quickly. Thanks in advance.

I loop the straps back through the trislide a couple times. I don't get any slippage anymore, and i carry my gun on top of it.

I secured mine with some Racespec cord and mini S-biners.

I can detach it and clip the biners together for a tight neck fit. I have to knock up a paracord neck strap like I have on my rattlers for general use when not hunting.

Just started using the AGC this year and love it.

I really like this bino carrier and can't make my mind up between it and the Kuiu. I do like the way the top comes off forward on the kuiu system better.
