AG Privateer

So I am thinking of ordering a AG Privateer for a T3 I have in 7-08. It currently has the factory barrel, but I could see me upgrading to a prefit carbon with a sendero light contour. Is there any reason I couldn’t order a stock now with a sendero light contour barrel channel, hunt this season with the factory barrel and then swap barrels next year?

Those that have purchased AG stocks for their Tikka’s in the past. Any thoughts?

Do it. Those are great stocks and unless the look bothers you, there’s nothing wrong with having an oversized barrel channel.

They seem like a great stock that should last me forever. I find it easy to get overwhelmed with options of barrel contours and bottom metal. Even though it’s not complicated.

The one I have came to me with Tikka bottom metal/plastic. It is simple and it works well.
