So, I am looking for some feedback. I am trying to upgrade a factory stock on my model 7 7mm saum. I am wanting some nice but not overly priced. Any recommendations? Thanks..

I’ve got 2 in hs precision sporters, you can get a pretty good deal if you catch RedHawk sales. They aren’t as light as something like the stockys carbon fiber but in both cases the rifles shot better. A little weight may not hurt with that saum anyway

I’ve never owned a Model 7, but have owned several Model Seven rifles. 😉 I put a B & C stock on my Model Seven SS 7 SAUM. I’ve put several of them on other Model Seven rifles, as well and love them. I put a McMillan edge fill on a Model Seven 7-08 and like it, as well.

That’s what I have is the 7mm saum model. What model B&C did you use?

I think it was called the Medalist. Olive with black web in color, to be specific.
Don’t recall having to channel out any material on that stock since that 7 saum has a slightly heavier barrel??

How much do those stocks weigh? I've got a Seven Youth ive had for 30 years that im going to let my son shoot but a full stock would be nice when he's older. Especially a light weight one.
