Long-time lurker but a new member to the forum. I hunt in Louisiana I mostly bow hunt but I bought a new rifle a couple years back and I want to upgrade my Bergara b14 6.5 Creedmoor stock. There is a ton out there varying wildly in price. I wanted to see what members have purchased. Any experience with Grayboe?

Grayboe are decent but heavy. I have a Terrain with their M5 hunter AICS mag system on a Rem 700 308. I like it but I don't carry it around much.

Stock choice is very personal and depends on how you are going to use the rifle. Lots of hiking? In a stand with a rest? Ranges? Also, budget.

For a short to medium range rifle that will be carried a lot, I like the Stocky's carbon offerings. For a rifle that will be shot at longer ranges, but carried less, I'd go with a KRG Bravo.

Also, do you want to switch to detachable mags?

Your options are almost limitless because that Bergara is a Rem 700 footprint and everyone makes a Rem 700 short action stock.

I'm totally new to this, but i upgraded my B14 Wilderness Ridge (6.5 CM) with a Grayboe Renegade. I ordered for factory bergara bottom metal detachable magazine conversion and it didn't fit. Well the mag conversion bottom metal fit in, but you couldn't get the mag in as there lock didn't have room to move.
