I had already installed uprated front springs and shocks on my F150 and there wasn't any additional sag after the bumper was installed. Probably less than 150# additional on the front.
For a 250/350 pickup, probably not necessary.
For the leveling kit/spring perch crowd, it might be a good idea.
So... You don't disagree.

Spring upgrades aren't needed. Unless you want a very specific ride height.

There is a certain manufacturer that starts with a T followed by OYOTA that sends out trucks with marginal suspension from the factory.
If you mention this, people come out of the woodwork to defend them even though 80 percent have some aftermarket mods to the suspension just to get across a fire road.
For this particular manufacturer, I would definitely recommend an upgrade....More than the typical leveling kit or spring perch/preload for looks.

Hit a deer with my 22 ram 1500, only took out the front bumper.

Dealership said 5 weeks to 5 months to get a new oem bumper.

Any recommendations for aftermarket bumpers ?
Fab Fours, only complaint is the powder coat/paint could be better but it’s still better than most on the market. Fitup is top notch.
