Hit a deer with my 22 ram 1500, only took out the front bumper.

Dealership said 5 weeks to 5 months to get a new oem bumper.

Any recommendations for aftermarket bumpers ?

I like my A.D.D. bumper, it's low profile, lighter weight than factory and gained me a lot of clearance and space for lighting. You can actually add small light bars in the corners too but I didn't need any more lights

Quality is pretty even across the board if you're not getting the super budget ones. It's a half ton and you were looking a stock bumper, so I'm assuming you aren't wanting something super heavy duty.

I'd pick one that you like the look of.

Road Armor.
I added one to my my F150.
Make sure you get one that covers the grill.
Keeping the radiator and coolers intact is what gets you home from an encounter, not excessive lighting.
Edit: Sorry for the crappy pic...We don't do a lot of glamor shots of the cars....

Only deer I've hit was all below the grille/headlights.

Muley doe at 70. Vaporized her. Bumper was fine. Frame bent.

Lol nice jab. They have a version from ADD with a rail to protect the grille too

The bumper/grill guard all in one units have saved us multiple times on deer. Busting a radiator in the middle of nowhere is not fun.

Ranch hand brand is the best fit, quality, and function I’ve used so far.

I've put 4 on trucks, dozens of my friends have done the same. Many of us with winches.

Never had to upgrade the suspension.
I had already installed uprated front springs and shocks on my F150 and there wasn't any additional sag after the bumper was installed. Probably less than 150# additional on the front.
For a 250/350 pickup, probably not necessary.
For the leveling kit/spring perch crowd, it might be a good idea.
