Thanks for the lead, but us going to one place and the other family going somewhere else is not what I asked forJan Olefse Hunting Safaris in Namibia. My
They have a none hunting resort/safari business also called Mt Etjo Safari Lodge.
I'm sure anyone I call can sell me a hunting safari, and also sell me a photo safariI've gone Hunting with Cape to Cairo twice. Once in south Africa, second trip was to Namibia. I've had a fantastic time with Cedric. His wife runs a safari business that we plan on using for our honeymoon eventually(can't remember the name). He is going to work with me to hunt everywhere we go when we decide to pull the trigger.
They are located on the same grounds and not to say they won't allow the none hunting family to base out the hunting camp or you to base out of the none hunting side. They did have a separate accommodations for the hunters as most photo safari groups aren't super hunter friendly. We hunted there but went to some of the "non-hunting" activities. And a couple days at the end of our hunt we stayed at the "non-hunting" accommodations but still went hunting...we just didn't carry our guns from the vehicles to our cabin like we did at the specifically hunting focused lodge. I'm sure if you contacted them they would be able to figure something out. Thanks for the lead, but us going to one place and the other family going somewhere else is not what I asked for
That is amazing. I may check back someday. This is in my 5 year plan. Would want to hunt Sable, Eland, Grants, and Waterbuck. Also some predators if possibleI hunt Africa a lot, anyone needs some names of who not to use let me know. Who you use depends on what sort of hunting you want to do. They are all very different.
Grants is going to be expensive, have to go up to Tanzania and that's never cheap. They are super cool! Drop me a PM anytime, we go every summer. That is amazing. I may check back someday. Nathan Askew, Bullet Safaris does both. Good man, good operationGot another family we like to travel with that wants to do a photo safari, but I am going to hunt if I go to Africa. Does anyone have any recommendations for a place that caters to both?
I would look for an outfitter east towards Kruger is someone wants to do photos. All hunting in South Africa is very different the Eastern Cape is very wide open Limpopo is very thick hunting in the bush up and close. Anybody who just throws a name out without asking exactly what you're looking for really isn't helping. Some Outfitters will shoot off the truck, some will shoot at the water holes, some you better find a track and get off your butt and start walking 10 miles. Not all Outfitters and areas have access to the same animals.Nathan Askew, Bullet Safaris does both. Good man, good operation
