I placed an order with aero precision around Black Friday. It was for a barreled upper that was listed as “in stock”. They had the same sale about 2 weeks prior to me ordering but the item I wanted was not in stock. I assumed with the second sale saying that it was in stock it would be a quick turnaround to receive my item.
About 6 weeks after placing my order I reached out to them for the first time. Since then I reached out 5 more times. Each time I was told the barrel and action are finished. They were just waiting for a magnum bolt. 2 weeks ago I finally called and asked to cancel my order and be refunded. They were very quick to say yes, no problem. 2 weeks later I still haven’t received my refund so I contacted them again. I was told they are currently subject to a “court-appointed receivership”. The information I found online says if you have an order with Aero that they have not full filled you have until July 6 to file a claim.
Out of all my conversations with Aero over the last 6 months nobody ever told me this until after I cancelled my order.
I’m just hoping to help anyone else that may be in a similar situation.
