Looks like they're getting into a new business when the upcoming laws ban the manufacture of their lowers.
Hopefully not the case but I wouldnt be surprised if this came about because of a board meeting about that topic

I was just funnin you over some other threads and comments bashing rem triggers around here lately. I’ve been using quite a few Triggertech’s. Mostly the Specials. I have a couple of Diamonds but fine with the Special so I’ve saved the $$$ by using the Special. I never pay retail on them, wait for a sale. BTW I think eurooptic has them for sale for today only. B n A’s have their fans too and their two stage is nice as is the single.

Oh ok. I ain't got nothing against them, never heard bad about a Rem 700 trigger (Outside of the recall years back) and don't plan to research the topic :D

I just saw the specials. That looks better. 1-3.5lbs. I always default to 1.75-2lbs anyway.

Or save some cash and barrel it with a 3 or 3b for similar weight. Not as cool but way cheaper.
I'd want a prefit remage so I can barrel it myself. Northland shooter criterion?

From the looks of it it’s not a Remington tenon, it’s a Savage thread. Any number of outfits that offer an Origin pre fit should work.

Compatibility:

  • Barrel: Savage Small Shank W/ Barrel nut and Shouldered Zermatt Origin Pattern Pre-Fit Barrels

Non folding stock and 36 oz action?? Hello 1995.
That would be about the right target date if looking to develop a product that would could be sold during a resurgence of the Assault Weapons Ban.
Not having a folding stock would fall in line as well.
