Aerial gunning elk?

Sounds like rich Texans bought mountain ranches…
article says other wise. If it was Texas LO they would want 200 transferrable LO ranch only tags with atleast a 5 month season. That way they can sell/hunt elk in Feb —July when they migrate through and do the most damage.

I see both side of the issue.

Unfortantly there will never be a mutually beneficial agreement. Just alot of finger pointing

Most outrageous quote?

“Can they just be gunned, and let the coyotes take care of the carcasses?”

Love how the east button would be let the state sell depredation tags and hunters will come through, hammer them and take most of the carcass out, but we can’t have that. It would make too much sense

I love the term "superherd" . Kinda wondering about the "elk are a finite resource , to many hunters not enough tags or animals for the demand. Blah blah blah " . Sounds like a good old fashioned access issue
