Hi I’d like to get a Sitka hunting jacket for my son. Something light yet warm. I wear a kelvin light jacket now annd then and like that a lot but don’t think make that anymore. He’s a size L. Thoughts on jacket that fits this or similar to Kelvin light hoody? Prob use for waterfowl, and deer. Thx

I have more Sitka stuff than I’d like to admit but don’t have any puffy jackets so can’t help there but when you mention using it for duck hunting, a Dakota hoody is extremely warm and versatile. Would also be quieter than a puffy. Can layer under the Dakota hoody and then throw a shell over it and will get you through most anything down to below freezing or persistent rain. The Dakota face fabric is windstopper. Windproof but not waterproof.

If reallly wanting a puffy, stone glacier Grumman used to be had for 199 on sale and would be my pick for a puffy.
But a Dakota hoody wins on amount of use it would get, and I see a puffy getting ripped a lot trying to use it as the outermost piece while duck hunting.

Thanks! I have a Dakota hoody myself. I think? Love it but don’t care for pull overs. What is comparable to this but full zipper? Duck oven?

I think duck oven may be perfect for what you are looking for. Also, Rogers Sporting Goods has them on a great sale currently.
