Okay to make a long story short I royally screwed myself! I am shooting VAP V1's so they are expensive and starting over building them isn't really an option. I have them cut so my broad head comes back over the riser. Now my drop away rest picks up the arrow in time to miss the shelf but my broad head clips the side of the riser and comes off the string!!! That is just the way my bow tuned out. I am shooting 4 fletch and trophy taker 100 grain broad heads. The only way it works is if I have one blade of the broad head sticking out to the left to give me maximum clearance on the side of the riser when I draw back. Works every time that way. My question is if a big bull comes in and I load my arrow upside down the arrow will pop off the string. What is a good way to mark the back of my arrow so I load it right side up? Color the top half of the arrow with white sharpie?? Replace one vane with a different color that is most near to the top? Kinda freaking out here. Help!

I would change out a feather to an odd color. Or you could color part of a feather with a sharpie. That would be two easy fixes.

I always fletch my arrows so white is my cock vane (seems to be easier to see in low light conditions). So no matter what my other colors are white is always my vane that is up. I've been doing that for years, when I grab an arrow out of my quiver don't even have to think about it white goes up.

A lot of nocks out there have a little raised line or something of that nature that you can feel for to make sure you get the arrow on correctly. I always put it to the outside, that way I know my arrow orientation is correct. It can be tough though with gloves on. I think the white marker it probably easiest and most reliable.

I think I am doing the white marker and then will shoot them all with broad heads and make sure they are not catching riser. I actually think my nocks have a little raised part.

Vapor trail limb driver. It's not hitting my shelf. It's hitting the side of me riser. So arrow rest would need to come over.

Only 1 1/8 ". It's a new breed eclipse. I should have cut my arrows an inch longer. But this will work.

Nearly every binary cam bow I have tuned has been outside of center. Something with the tune sounds off if you are that far inside.

Agree with this.. I havnt had an issue with riser broadhead clearance in 20 yrs.

Something is out of whack

Maybe I will take it back to the bow shop and ask them. The weird thing is its grouping out to 80 yards.

Should I just bump my rest over 1/4" and see how it shoots at 20-60 yards and go from there? Now that I think about it I was 100% confident in the paper tune when I did it.
