As one should I did the search option and didn't find a discussion before posting. If there is already I apologize.
I shoot LH and recently acquired a beautiful RH wood stock 300wm Mossberg Patriot. I run adjustable kydex risers on a number of rifles but this one has the factory cheek moulding on the wrong side. Which I have not run into before. Even just installing it over moulding.
Do the kydex risers work well installed straight to stock moulding? I don't want to sand it down or anything, and the slip on risers always feel sloppy to me.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I would prefer to not drop it into another stock because it is a very nice rifle. Thanks guys!
