For those of you using the Invader Concepts Recon holster.

Have you ran into any issues with holster placing the pistol grip in a way that hinders use of a range finder pouch on your dominant hand side?

I saw the holster has a few adjustment points. Is this enough adjustment to make the angle of the grip sit out of the line of your rangefinder pouch?

I would like to get an idea about adjustment before I buy yet another holster I may not use.

On another note does anyone have a creative idea to solve the issue of a pistol grip affecting the use of a range finder pouch?

I've got the Recon holster with a full size Glock 10mm in it, and I really like it. I have not noticed it being in the way of my range finder pouch. I seem to remember my T&K bino harness sits off of the holster enough so they don't really interfere with one another for the most part. For reference I'm about 6'4" and 170lbs ish, so tall and skinny. The holster has a bunch of adjustment points so you can change the cant on it. Further disclosure, it's been a year or two since I've ran the chest holster and bino harness at the same time. Last season I put my range finder on my pack hip belt and used one of the rick young harnesses for my binos. I think I'm going to go back to the T&K bino harness though.

Alternatively, I just saw this holster on their site:

This one would drop your pistol along your torso, below your bino harness. It looks like it uses the same holster shell, so you'd be able to swap back and forth by changing the harnesses.

I think there's also an outfit that makes a plate you attach to the back of your bino harness to be able to add a holster, I just can't remember the name of it.

Recon style holster is the only option I haven’t tried at this point I can’t find anything that allows a semi comfortable carry for me. I’m short so those under the harness holsters are always in the way.
