I havnt shopped at one before. Looking at their 6 or 8 foot platform stands to put a blind or two on. They are opening one by me end of the month. How are they?
Academy is decent gear. It isn't high end, but certainly not low end. I really like their tripod stands, but do not have experience with the specific stand you are referencing. If it is anything like their tripod stand, it should be a keeper.
I like academy. Have never used their stands but their Big A feeder is awesome. Have had 6 of them out for 6-8 years and they are going strong. Friends and neighbors have another 6-8
Obviously I’ve replaced batteries and solar panels every few years. And occasionally a motor
You'll like having one close by. Best way to describe it is like a Walmart for sports and outdoor products. Just don't expect employees to know anything about what they are selling.
They are decent stores. Have bought a few guns from them over the years. They have really good prices and sales on athletic gear. My son worked at ours for a while and really enjoyed it. Just didn't pay very well. Kind of a poor man's Scheels....
I just picked up their bind platform. Apparently it’s a 5 foot tall platform that you can put a ground blind on. I have a power line on the farm where I have a ground blind and w the lay of the land / hills you often wish you could be just slightly higher. We’ll see how it works
