I just got back from Carp shooting [bow and arrow] with a buddy....thats about the most fun a guy can have with a bow. Pic is my buddy Tim, A dead eye on Carp

I regularly take new shooters, Nieces and Nephews out pistol shooting at a run and gun setup with steel plates I arrange on a buddies ranch- good way to dump some ammo and fine tune fast shooting

I recently upgraded my Air rifle to a PCP air rifle....dang that thing is fun to shoot

So many things a guy/gal can do with the different weapons that are a total Blast. What's your favorite?

Stalking and gunning herds of pigs has to be right up there. No limits, caliber restrictions, or salvage requirements, kill as many as you can before they get in the brush.

I enjoy shotgun shooting, skeet is my favorite and sporting clays is always a challenge. Sitting on a bucket on a hot dove spot beats either though.

Have steel scattered all over the ranch. Stretching out revolvers and auto pistols is always fun. Pretty cool the first time you TONK the 12” plate at 100 with a 2” J frame.

USPSA is my favorite. Running around shooting as fast as you can, reloading on the move, I love it. IDPA is also fun but has less targets and more rules. Three gun is pretty awesome, I've only shot it a few times. Any of the falling steel shoots are fun. I shot TAC a few years ago, that was pretty cool too. We did a lot of 3D archery shoots when I was a kid. Now it's only once in a while.

I love shooting just about anything. It's one of the only times I've experienced that flow state where you aren't thinking about anything and it feels like you are on auto pilot.

I love precision bolt gun, but CQB with an AR is pretty close to the top for sheer fun. Prairie dogs with a Tikka 223 at 200-500 yards is probably a rival.

One of the older guys at our archery range that passed away, Winke....was a champion hatchet or Axe thrower [I'm not sure of the correct term] That looks like fun.

He passed before he had a chance to take me out.

It is definitely a blast, been a long time since I have. I fly fish for them these days!

I am from WI and we used to bow fish carp out of a canoe. When you shot a real big one they'd pull us around until they died.

Southern Wi. lots of fun shooting carp, and buffalo carp with bow. We used the guts for catfish bait. the rest went in the compost pile.

I prefer to keep my feet on dry ground.....

I love deer hunting, but one of the hunting events I enjoyed the most was a pheasant hunt at Show Me Birds in Kansas. It wasn’t so much the beautiful crisp air, the camaraderie, or the birds, but the dogs! Watching those GSP’s work was so satisfying.

A friend of my dad used to put the carcasses/guts in a 55 gallon barrel all summer. He then used the goop that it turned into for fertilizer the next spring. I swear you could smell his place down wind from a mile away.

Spearfishing(underwater) for walleyes where legal. Its like fishing/hunting all in one. I dont use scuba, just freediving. Great way to build up the lung capacity for hunts out west

Do whatever you want with them, just don't dump them at the boat ramp like all the guys around me seem to do.

Bowfishing for carp is a blast when they are up shallow and you can wade up to them. Another fun sport is shooting prairie dogs in target rich towns. My son and I can sometimes walk through dog towns with 22's, plinking them off. Otherwise, we will shoot them from elevated positions. Both are a lot of fun.
