Anyone tried the new AAE Pro Max 1.7" vanes yet???? Ive got some on order, thinking about trying some 4 fletched and seeing if they will steer Shuttle T-Locks.

The max hunters are legit and steer my t's better then any other vane. I have extreme helical using ez fletch.

AAE makes good products.

Shot the 4" elite plastifletch for years. Wears as good or better than Blazers through a biscuit.

Yeah I've shot the Max Hunter and the Elite 2.6 vanes a lot over the years, that's why I wanted to try the new Pro Max vanes out...I've always liked AAE's stuff.

Three pro max steered ulmers, terminal and shuttles great for me. Four should work even better. May want to look at the pm2.0 too. I've run those in a 4 fletch for 2 years with terminals with great groups out to 120 yards. Shield cut, very low profile.

Good to know, I just got a 100pk of the Pro Max in this afternoon to play with, stripped a couple of VAPs earlier and 4 fletched them... I won't get a chance to shoot them until tomorrow afternoon at the earliest but I'll see how they compare to Blazers as far as flight and groups go. Hopefully they work out good cause I like the looks of them .

I've been extremely happy with Flex Fletch Flash FHP-200's and Shuttle-T's. Shuttle's a super flying fixed head so I'm not sure I'd over-think a vane. As an example, I won't shoot more than one arrow per a bullseye at 60 yards due to wrecking an arrow or shaving vanes.

Yeah Shuttles do shoot great, I've shot them a lot over the years and always had great luck with how they fly no matter what vane/arrow I've tried them on.

Playing with them now on a 4 fletch!

What are you seeing from them Evan??? I haven't had time to mess with them any yet...Fletched up a couple VAPs but weather has been crappy, high winds and a little rain so I haven't had a chance to shoot any since building them.

I shot them last night finally, Shuttle T's on VAPS fletched with Blazers, Pro Max, Max Hunters and 3" Fusions...Pro Max did the worse for me honestly, they are great with field tips but broadheads started planing with them in the wind... Everything else stayed in a 3" circle with broadheads "yes I wrecked a VAP and knocked vanes off others"... So now I'm back to Blazers or Max Hunters I think.

4 fletch, right wing clamp with as much helical as I can get with my Bitz jig....They shot perfect with field tips but with broadheads in the wind they got pushed around....
