Need some fletching jig advice.

Switching over to either the AAE Max Hunter or the Pro Max. Arrows are the Easton Carbon Injexion 330.

Pros: I'm seeing much better accuracy than my blazers and broad head stabilization.

Cons: They are not as easy to fletch compared to the 2" Blazers, specially the Max Hunters.

Using a Arizona EZ fletch mini since I have to have Helical. It's ok but it's not fully allowing the vane to sit tightly to the arrow shaft when fletching. Any ideas on jigs they have used on the AAE vanes? Also what kind of glue works best for the AAE Vanes? Was using the loctite control gel, worked great for Blazers, horrible on the Max Hunters.

Wow. Me and everyone else I know have experienced the opposite. Max hunters stick way better. I use AAE glue. Are you sure your glue is fresh?

I received a batch of AAE vanes a while back that would not stick with any glue I tried. Once I cleaned the foot of the vane with acetone, they worked just fine. The company was aware of the issue and made it right.

Regardless, I use the same vane and jig combo as you and have not had the problem with the vane aligning properly with the shaft you are experiencing.

You might also refer to the archery forum for archery questions, as you will get better response.

I use a Bitz jig, helical and put as much offset on as I can and still get contact on the vane. I use the AAE gel glue, the guy at the archery shop told me I would not have acceptable results using other glues.
