A zone 2024

Rifle opener is upon us. Who’s getting after it? I was out this morning and it was only 97 degrees by 11:30. Saw one doe. Supposed to cool down next week.

A zone south, hot and fairly windy with a ton of pressure this morning. Not a lot of deer movement. Didn’t hear a single shot fired which was pretty surprising for this area. The deer are definitely there so hopefully some cooler weather gets them moving

I’m in the south as well. Ran into a few guys who were successful. Couple forked horns and one solid bigger buck.

Howling wind for me up north. Guys lower get some shooting

Hunted the north Saturday morning. 95 degrees by 10:30AM. Nothing moving during daylight until it cools down a bit.
