I’m not a huge fan of suspenders when I’m hiking long distances. I’ve tried out a few different belts over the years and have landed on this one. It works perfectly for me and is very light.

The buckle only weighs .4 oz and the strap weighs under 2 oz in my waist size of 32. They are US made and have a lifetime warranty as well.

Something to check out for sure.

They have a tons of options but this is their lightweight line that I went with...

All I use in the Backcountry.. Best belt you can use under a pack..

How is the holding power once it's strapped on? I've been using one of these now for the last 6 years and really like it, but maybe I'm missing something.

They have a patent and trademark on what they call “badger bite”. It’s a cheesy name and marketing but the thing damn works. No belt slip or slide on any of my hunting pants. They also use a stronger nylon material then most lightweight belts in their weave which has good holding strength.

I've been looking for something like this for awhile.

Thanks for posting this. I ordered one.

For anyone else whose considering. My browser keeps showing me advertising from them with the Discount code Google15. Might be worth a shot.

I just jumped into the lightweight belt market when i got the Marsupial gear one for christmas. It has been awesome so far wearing it to work and hiking. It has just a minimal stretch that adds to comfort. I adjust it to fit and the hook it in and out method is so convenient. Couldn't ask for anything more and at 20$ i don't feel you can beat it.

I got the marsupial belt about a month ago and it has been really good. I got it because of the small "buckle" which is actually just a hook that slides into a loop on the other side. So far it has been great but I haven't put any big hikes with a pack on it yet but better than suspenders for sure.
