With all the elk bowhunting personalities out there, South is definitely a first class act. His ability to close the gap and get under 15 yard shots on monster mule deer with a stickbow is mind-blowing.

Absolutely awesome video.
I think this video also shows hunters hunting until the animal is down for good. That bull came back around to the shooter because he was still in hunt mode, saved the loud stuff until he was down for good.

Finally got around to watching this. UNREAL. Can’t imagine how he felt when he was screaming right in front of him. Then to get that second shot required some serious stealth and deliberate movement with the elk staring at them.

IDK. . . I feel like there wasn't 20-30 min of random conversation to warm me up and get me ready for the action. It was all, you know, hunting. And there wasn't a sketchy shot placement to make me question the guys integrity.

So in short this film is definitely lacking. . .in all the right places! Awesome vid and unreal composure. He was definitely locked in!
